I met Gregg last year at the day job and not long after, I had talked him and Robin into braving the freezing cold for their engagement session at Lafayette Park. Getting to know them over this last year made being a part of their elopement even more special to me. 🙂
We couldn’t help but laugh about how their wedding day was a stark contrast to the day we photographed their engagement. It. Was. HOT. So hot that we had Lafayette Park to ourselves, but of course we didn’t complain about that.
The wonderful Carolyn Burke officiated and beautiful, personally written vows were read from his and her monogrammed notebooks. Robin carried a gorgeous Roses & Mint bouquet and we took a trip to Clementine’s to try and beat the heat.
While it was a scorching hot day, it couldn’t have been more perfect for these two. I hope you enjoy this little taste of their sweet elopement that I was honored to photograph and witness. ❤
Fall is one of my favorite times of year for weddings, and Jerika + Andrew’s big day was no exception! These two were so much fun to work with and were such troopers in the chilly weather, always amenable when I asked for just one more frame. The grounds at Whitmoor Country Club are so gorgeous that it was difficult to not spend hours working on portraits.
Jerika + Andrew are truly the sweetest couple and I wish them a life time of happiness!
The amount of love in the air that beautiful October afternoon was palpable. The ceremony of Emily + Andrew was one of the most beautiful ceremonies I have ever had the joy to capture. From the moment she walked through those doors into that beautiful garden, you could feel the love they have for one another.
This whimsical wedding was done so beautifully and to perfection, down to the rhinestone embellished carousel brooch on the bride’s bouquet and the groom’s grape soda lapel pin.
These two will no doubt have a lifetime of happiness and laughs, and I’m so honored to have been able to document their story.
I knew when I met Kristyn and Derick, over coffee at a Starbucks almost two years ago, they were going to be a blast to work with. We talked about their love of theater and their awesome love story, and I suggested they have a photobooth at the reception with an “awkward family photo” theme (ugly sweaters and ’90s huge frame glasses galore). Our union was meant to be.
It was a gorgeous fall day. Okay, I’m lying. It was definitely gorgeous but it was HOT – unseasonably hot, but these two absolutely rocked it (their amazing bridal party wasn’t too shabby either).
